A signature on a document is always accompanied by a text:

Signed by <name>

Certified by Peripass on

DocID <GUID>

E.g.:

Signed by John Doe

Certified by Peripass on 18/12/2021 12:45:14

DocID 49d5536c-bc01-4aab-a303-f4b977c76615

What kind of verification levels exists?

Without verification

No identification of the signer. E.g. Sign on glass when receiving a parcel

With data verification

The signer is verified by the exchange of data that was only available to the signer. E.g. Sending a code by text message and checking the code.

With account verification

The signer can be linked to an account and user profile. E.g. Using a mobile app, in which the signer is logged in, to sign the document.

With identity verification

The signer can be identified by legal identification materials. E.g. Using ItsMe to verify the identity of the signer.

How does this verification work in Peripass?

The implemented level is “With data verification”.

For the signature of the driver: during the check-out process, the physical person before the screen is linked to a known visitor. Most reliable is the PIN-code method as this is information that was communicated to the driver by text to his device.

For the shippers' signature: the signature is linked to a known user of Peripass.
