A rental kiosk automatically starts working from the moment you connect power. If you experience issues, please contact support.
Any other kiosk should be installed by a service engineer. Please contact your project manager in case of issues.
Single kiosk configuration on different physical kiosks
It is allowed to add a single kiosk configuration to different physical kiosks to cope with high volumes.
A typical setup can be like:
1 Logistics Kiosk configuration running on 2 physical kiosks at the entrance
1 Mobile Kiosk configuration used by multiple drivers for fastlane registration
1 Office Kiosk configuration for visitors and contractors running on an indoor kiosk at the office entrance
Legacy vs. new kiosk
There are two types of physical kiosks: Legacy and New.
The new kiosk offers a faster, clearer, and more intuitive user experience. However, it does not yet support local hardware integrations such as passport scanners and document printers or scanners. Support for these devices will be introduced gradually. Once hardware integrations are fully supported, all existing setups will be able to upgrade to the new kiosk.
You can check the home screen to know whether you are using the legacy or the new kiosk:
